Lebanon’s two major Christian parties in the March 14 alliance were the targets of bombs on Friday morning.
The Voice of Lebanon radio station reported unidentified assailants threw a grenade at the Lebanese Forces (LF) office in Kfour in Kesrouan at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, causing material damages.
This was the second incident of its kind in less than a week, as a grenade was thrown at another LF office in Sin al-Fil facing the municipality building last Sunday.
Later on Friday morning, Future News reported two unexploded bombs were found near a Kataeb office in Dbayeh, a coastal town North of Beirut. The Internal Security Forces (ISF) reported the two bombs were planted in former Kataeb official Milad Massoud’s garden, but were not set to explode, according to the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC).
The Kataeb party reported military experts arrived at Massoud’s residence and cordoned off the site. Journalists were not allowed in, the Kataeb website reported.
