Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan said that the death of an officer in last week’s helicopter attack was a loss for the entire nation and should not be exploited for political purposes.
 
Kanaan said that the Resistance’s weapons should be discussed by the cabinet and in parliament, as well as during the national dialogue, and that until such discussions took place, the army should not carry out operations that exceeded their technical military responsibility.
