Development and Liberation bloc MP Ali Khreis said that the issue of Thursday’s attack on a Lebanese army helicopter, which killed one officer, was now in the hands of the legal system. “Hezbollah’s project has given Lebanon power and strengthened the Lebanese army,” he said, noting that Hezbollah and the army are inseparable.
In a religious ceremony at Bourj Rahhal on Saturday, Khreis said that the Doha Agreement must be implemented faithfully, especially the provisions regarding electoral redistricting, noting that the 1960 caza-based electoral law did not meet their expectations.
“Regional events and Israeli threats are a strong motivation for Lebanese unity, and the discussion of all topics,” he said.
