The National News Agency (NNA) reported on Tuesday that 19-year-old Selena George Issa was found near the Chekka tunnel in North Lebanon severely beaten.

She was kidnapped from the town of Hamat, near Chekka, by two men who hit her and then threw her near the tunnel thinking she had died, according to the NNA.

Issa was transported to the Batroun Hospital.
