The Vatican’s Congregation for the Causes of Saints unanimously voted in favor of beatifying the Venerable Estephan Nehmeh, said the Lebanese Maronite Order in a statement issued on Tuesday.

Pope Benedict XVI will study the case at the end of the week prior to giving his final approval and setting the date for the beatification ceremony, which according to the statement, is to take place around the end of June, early July.
