Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Tuesday met with high-ranking German officials, including Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Ruprecht Polenz, at the parliament in Berlin, according to a statement issued by the PM’s office.
The two men discussed regional and international developments.
Also, Hariri held a meeting with the Arab ambassadors to Germany and discussed the Lebanese government’s work and the Middle East peace process.
The PM also met with former German Foreign Minister and head of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) parliamentary bloc Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
