The National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday that the Internal Security Forces (ISF) arrested this week at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport four people trying to transport drugs out of Lebanon.
A 19-year-old Jordanian woman was caught on Friday with a small amount of hashish, and a 28-year-old passenger was trying to transport to Lagos more than 25 grams of the drug.
On Sunday, authorities arrested a 31-year-old man traveling to Kuwait, and a 48-year-old Lebanese national heading to the UAE with small amounts of hashish and cocaine.
All four suspects were taken to the airport’s antinarcotics department for investigation.
