Lebanese Democratic Party leader Talal Arslan said on Sunday that the role of the Resistance in defending Lebanon determines its arsenal’s national and political legitimacy, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

He reiterated that Lebanon’s defense is based on its “army, people and Resistance triangle.”

“We broke the legend of the invincibility of the [Israeli] army, and our Iranian brothers ended the Israeli monopoly of nuclear energy in the Middle East,” Arslan also said.

According to Arslan, nuclear energy will ensure development in Iran and improve the country’s living conditions. He added that Syria and Turkey are enhancing their economies in the fields of science, industry, culture, tourism, commerce and services.

“The colonial countries are unable to prevent the Iranian-Turkish-Syrian-Lebanese bloc from forming,” said Arslan, adding that Lebanon is part of “this promising geopolitical equation.”
