According to a statement issued Sunday by his press office, Prime Minister Saad Hariri arrived in Berlin for a three-day state visit, where he will meet with high-ranking German officials—including Chancellor Angela Merkel, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and Defense Minister Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg—to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.
Hariri will also meet with members of the Lebanese community in Germany as well as Arab ambassadors posted to the country.
The PM is accompanied by his chief of staff, Nader Hariri, and his two advisors, former Finance Minister Mohammad Chatah and Hani Hammoud.
