US State Department spokesperson Philip Crowley said on Thursday that there have been no signs that Palestinians have pulled out of indirect peace talks with Israel.

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat said earlier in the day that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas would not re-launch negotiations with Israel unless it cancels its plan to build 1600 new housing units in an East Jerusalem settlement.
