The National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday that Mexican businessman of Lebanese origin Carlos Slim Helu arrived in Beirut from Geneva.
Forbes magazine announced on Wednesday that Helu took the first spot on their world’s billionaires list for 2010.
According to NNA, Helu was received in Rafik Hariri’s International Airport by President Michel Sleiman’s representative, Minister of State Adnan al-Qassar.
The news agency added that Helu will meet Sleiman and other Lebanese officials during his visit.
