Zahle bloc leader MP Toni Abu Khater told the Voice of Lebanon radio station on Wednesday that his bloc will submit a work plan to the national dialogue committee. However, he did not elaborate further.

He voiced hope that all arms would be under state control, in a possible reference to Hezbollah’s weapons, adding that Lebanese should have a common vision for the country’s future.

Abu Khater also said that  setting a national defense strategy that all parties agree on is a means to strengthen the state and enable it to confront Israel’s recurrent threats.
