Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mouallem said on Monday that his country should be notified of the results of the investigation into the Deir Aamar incident, when unidentified perpetrators opened fire at a bus transporting Syrians and resulted in the death of a passenger. The assailants as well as their supporters should be identified, according to Mouallem.

He also called for Lebanese Foreign Minister Ali Shami and Secretary General of the Higher Lebanese-Syrian Council Nasri Khoury to follow up on the matter.
