Kataeb bloc MP Samer Saadeh told Future News on Tuesday that “talks about cancelling political sectarianism are only heresy,” adding, “Political sectarianism cannot be abolished in the presence of armed parties and a state that does not have full authority over its territory.”

He added that the Taif Accord is a “whole that cannot be divided” and that the state should have authority over its entire land.
