Lebanon First bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat told LBCI television on Tuesday that the Internal Security Forces’ dispute between ISF Director General Ashraf Rifi and Police Brigadier Antoine Chakkour will be soon be discussed in the cabinet to find the appropriate solutions.

Rifi accused Chakkour of disobeying orders, and issued Chakkour discharge papers without consulting Interior Minister Ziad Baroud.

However, according to Fatfat, Chakkour is the one that did not comply with Baroud’s orders. He added that “disclosing any further details does not serve anyone’s interests.”
