The Syrian Socialist Nationalist Party issued a statement on Sunday announcing that a fire broke out in the tree house of the party’s founder, the late Antoine Saadeh, in Dhour Shweir. The statement said party members extinguished the fire, which limited damage to the tree house.

The statement added that the party is waiting for the result of an investigation by the Internal Security Forces and the Civil Defense Forces into the incident.
